Ten things we repeat to first-time supercar clients on handover morning. Follow these and your weekend runs smoother.

1. Arrive Early to Handover

The brief takes 20–30 minutes. Plan your morning so you're not rushing.

2. Understand the Kilometre Allowance

Our fleet runs on 100km or 150km daily allowance depending on vehicle. Check which applies before you plan your route.

3. 98 Octane Only

Most of the fleet runs on ultra-premium fuel. Standard premium (95) in a Lamborghini or Ferrari damages the engine over time.

4. Security Bond on Credit Card

Every booking has a security bond held on your credit card for the duration of hire. Confirm the amount at time of booking.

5. Non-Refundable Deposit

Prestige Luxury Rentals deposits are non-refundable. Confirm your dates, city, vehicle and driver before paying.

6. The First 500 Metres

Supercars in unfamiliar hands are hardest in the first 500 metres. Know where you're going. Don't try to navigate and learn the car at the same time.

7. Photos on Day One

Weather turns. Cars get dusty. Shoot the photos early — the morning of handover is when the car looks its absolute best.

8. Parking Respect

Kerbing a supercar wheel is how most first-time clients damage our cars. Park at the far end of car parks, use valet where available.

9. The Car Attracts Attention

You'll be filmed at petrol stations. People will shout things. Strangers will ask for photos at lights. Enjoy it — it's part of the experience.

10. Actually Drive It

The most common regret we hear on return is 'we didn't drive it enough.' Plan the weekend around using the car — a drive day, a destination, a structured use.
