The Mercedes-AMG G63 is the most-booked SUV in our fleet, and the question that comes with it is always the same. Straight answer: $1,500 per 24 hours, with a 150km daily allowance. Here's the full breakdown, including the Brabus, what's included, what isn't, and what a realistic weekend adds up to.
G Wagon Hire Rates (Prestige Luxury Rentals, 2026)
| Vehicle | Rate / 24hrs | Daily km |
|---|---|---|
| Mercedes-AMG G63 (Black) | $1,500 | 150 km |
| Mercedes-AMG G63 (White) | $1,500 | 150 km |
| Mercedes Brabus | $2,000 | 100 km |
Two G63s in the fleet, black and white, at the same rate. The Brabus is the tuner-enhanced version for clients who want something less common, and note that it runs a 100km daily allowance rather than 150km.
Why the G Wagon Sits Where It Does on Price
At $1,500 per 24 hours it's mid-range for us. Above the Mercedes E63s ($1,100), the BMW M4 ($1,300) and the Audi RSQ8 ($1,300). Below every supercar in the fleet. What you're paying for is presence plus practicality: five seats, real luggage space, and the 150km daily allowance that most of our supercars don't get.
What's Included
- The vehicle for your booked 24-hour window
- Comprehensive insurance
- 150km daily kilometre allowance
- Showroom collection or delivery in Melbourne, Sydney or the Gold Coast
- Full handover brief (20 to 30 minutes) and a 24/7 support line
What's Not Included (budget separately)
- Fuel. Return the car at the level it was collected at.
- Security bond, held on your credit card for the hire period.
- Excess kilometres beyond the 150km daily allowance.
- Delivery outside the standard free zone
Worked Example: A G Wagon Weekend
Mercedes-AMG G63, Friday to Sunday (three 24-hour periods), standard daily rate:
- 3 x 24hrs at $1,500 = $4,500
- 450km total allowance stacked across the three days
- Fuel budgeted for the distance you're actually covering
- Bond held on your card for the hire period
That 450km is the number worth noting. It covers a Great Ocean Road weekend out of Melbourne, a Blue Mountains and Southern Highlands run out of Sydney, or a Byron Bay day trip plus a hinterland day out of the Gold Coast. Most of our supercars run 100km per day, which makes those same routes a lot tighter.
The Alternatives at Similar Money
- Audi RSQ8, $1,300 / 150km. Performance SUV, lower profile, slightly cheaper.
- Mercedes AMG GTS, $1,400 / 150km. Two doors, sports coupe, no real luggage.
- Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, $1,400 / 150km. Mid-engined V8, the value pick if you don't need the seats.
- Lamborghini Urus S, $2,400 / 100km. The step up if you want supercar badge presence in an SUV.
When People Book the G Wagon
Photoshoots and music videos, casino nights at Crown Melbourne, The Star Sydney and The Star Gold Coast, weekends away with luggage and passengers, and event arrivals where the car needs to read on camera. It's also a regular chauffeur booking for hotel-door arrivals, in both black and white.
